Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni has said that he is unhappy to see the club finish in sixth position in Serie A. Two defeats in the last three games saw Inter miss out on Champions League qualification, but the Nerazzurri boss has been guaranteed a place on the bench next season by president Massimo Moratti. "My 12 agents are always in talks with the president," he joked to Sky Sport Italia after the game. "Jokes aside, we are already working with the president and the board to build a competitive squad which can stay true to our history. "We must reflect and realise where we can improve. Finishing sixth is not satisfactory and we have to improve. "About my renewal, you must talk with Moratti: he is the one to decide when he will announce it." Stramaccioni was speaking in the aftermath of Inter's 3-1 defeat against Lazio, in which the Nerazzurri had to do without the services of Wesley Sneijder and Julio Cesar. "We had a great first half, in which we did not concede a goal," he said. "However, we could not take advantage of the chances we created. "In the second half, we suffered two goals in the space of four minutes, which turned the game around. "We are disappointed, but we must congratulate Lazio. We had a good match, but we were too nervous. "I chose the best team that I could, and we had four chances to score. Lazio were more clinical and they won the match thanks to two individual plays, which split the game into two."
