Who knows. It seems he has declined rapidly as a player ever since Mourinho left Chelsea. I think he will end up being loaned out again or sold. Again, this all depends on their new manager.
Liverpool needs Joe Cole. Their big-name players whom Kenny Dalglish, already fired as manager, signed last season failed to perform on the field except for Luis Suarez. For Andy Carroll who made the transfer from Newcastle, Dalglish held his faith in him and often chose to play him in the first team. Perhaps during Suarez's ban, the time gave Carroll the time to adapt to the team and shine in his element.
I feel Liverpool have been negotiating bad transfers since Dalglish came in. In a new era, with whoever comes in as manager, they should look to change the chemistry of the team a bit. I feel Joe Cole wont provide too much to the first team though, maybe its time for a replacement.
I don't think Joe Cole would really change anything for Liverpool. He didn't do much for them when he came there at first, I believe he should've stayed at Chelsea were he was playing really well.
