I am really pleased that Ricky Lambert scored on his debut, winning the game. He has played well for Southampton and has risen from the lower leagues and deserved his chance. I am always impressed with Welbeck and Cleverley is improving. When Rooney tries too hard he disappoints. However, England need to get the basics right in order to have any chance of a summer in Brazil next year.</p></blockquote><p></p>
